man i should have posted pics of grass on the 20th..oh well...here is my grass...

i have been growing it...and it jumps up taller every time i am not looking, this is one nights difference...i am very proud...they have pots of self growing stuff in the dollar section at target...the dollar section that costs me ten dollars every time...you get a little teeny pot, seeds and these cool dirt pellets all for one buck...so obviously i bought like 5...and a pack of wild flowers(on my return visit along with basil chives and oregano...oops)...you should go buy some...they make a good visiting teaching present too...britt we should probly do ours...my fault i know... my room is gonna be a jungle...and if grass growing isn't blog worthy i don't know what is ...

and if you think this is boring then you obviously hate the earth and in that case you shouldn't be reading my blog...earth hater...

i cant help it i'm just so inspired by this time of year...visual candy everwhere..plus i've been watching way to much planet earth and portland is like a romantic adult sized fern gully...its inspiring some pieces i really like but aren't quite blog ready yet

i mean duh they are pink...so obviously they are valentines antlers...not to be confused with say easter antlers or halloween antlers or packing day antlers...i love these boys...and my antlers... and the v-day card with a note saying congratulations on working out...

besides im so amped up i don't know what i'm doing...oh and its three pretty girls and a bbaby boy...he only gets to come cuz he is still inside...don't panic it's not mine...or emily's...so its totally appropriate..and exciting!!

so i am still behind on this thing...but am in portland...and this is completely not relevant but dave sent me emails of campbell in her headband i made her...cute headband...cuter girl...she is such a tadpole and sooo sweet...and i feel that sense of associated pride of her birth cuz i was at their house babysitting ...so basically she couldn't have been born with out me pretty much...oh and jen too...

so it is emily's bday week....kinda a big deal...and being as i spend every current day with this hot thing i decided to make her a birthday cake...i had no idea ....after several hours in the kitchen two runs to the grocery store to replace ingredients i had offended (which by the way nothing is more exciting then getting hit on late at night with no makeup, reckless hair and flour and suger covering my whole self)...and two attempts at the ganache frosting...ta-da (but read that how gob says it when he get out of prison by getting shanked)

i actually really enjoyed it...and it was yummy...and probably not that hard so go ahead and try it...recipe here...just dont tell me how easy it was

i was cleaning out my memory cards and found this and starting laughing...i remember this day and remember having this picture taken and laughing when we saw it and hearing what a familiar face this was...cute earring though huh.

i have a ton of catching up to do in here...i have been having adventures and fun things happening but am never updating on here...mostly just beach pools sun and exersize, babies, babysitting, preparing nurseries and hiking and cooking...yup,i said cooking. with a small side of job hunting...this weekend i am head limo bound (first limo ever and such a dream) with a fun group of girls to l.a. to see the play dream girls for emily's girl portion of her birthday extravaganza...which is many a post of its own... i cant wait and promise to start updating on here...pinky swear

i hiked six miles to top of the world yesterday(and it is not an easy one...even the girl at the running shoe store was impressed...ya i go to running shoe stores)
and ran 5 miles...and did not make emily slow down one time...or stop...and did it my best pace ever...it always helps to have st patrick day celebraters riding their bikes next to you telling you how hot it is that your running and how dedicated you are...and new shoes help especially when i'd been using shoes not even intended to walk long distances...and nothing like a rock of love wannabe to light a fire and get me a-runnin...fast

if you feel like you dont even know me anymore when you read this...it's ok...i don't either ...(but if i get toned and hot and tan who cares about myself awareness...get real)
